Dubrovnik Boat Tour Prices
Updated · Open Sea DubrovnikA private Dubrovnik boat tour is normally priced for the whole boat rather than per guest. Use this guide to compare realistic starting prices, understand what changes a quote and avoid comparing offers that include different things.
Current private-tour starting prices
Open Sea Dubrovnik lists three standard private routes with starting prices, plus two individually quoted experiences: Celebrations on the Water and Luxury & Larger Private Boats. Starting prices reflect the least expensive suitable available boat; group size, date and requirements can change the final offer.
- Private sunset boat tour: approximately 2 hours, starting from €180 per boat.
- Blue and Green Cave half-day: 4 hours, starting from €280 per boat.
- Elaphiti Islands full day: 8 hours, starting from €480 per boat.
- Celebrations on the Water: a custom quote for your boat, route and confirmed optional arrangements.
- Luxury & Larger Private Boats: a custom quote based on the available vessel, group, route and inclusions.
What changes the final price?
The lowest advertised number is useful only when you know what it covers. A larger party may need a larger vessel, while a longer or more distant route uses more fuel. Weekend demand and short-notice availability can also affect which boats remain available.
For a birthday, anniversary or proposal, see Celebrations on the Water. Cakes, flowers, drinks and a photographer can be requested at an additional cost, subject to availability and suitability for the boat; some arrangements need extra notice.
If extra space or a premium vessel is the priority, explore Luxury & Larger Private Boats. We confirm the exact boat, facilities, inclusions and total price in your offer.
- Number of guests and children’s ages
- Tour duration and cruising distance
- Exact available vessel and engine
- Fuel included for the proposed route
- Pickup or transfer requirements
- Celebration drinks, decorations or other arrangements
What should be included?
A useful quote should identify the exact boat or boat category, licensed skipper, fuel allowance, departure point, duration and onboard inclusions. Open Sea’s listed routes include the private boat, skipper, fuel for the stated route, safety equipment, water and soft drinks, with snorkelling equipment on the swimming tours.
Private price or per-person price?
Shared tours usually advertise a per-person price. Private tours usually advertise one price for the boat, up to the confirmed passenger limit. A private boat can therefore become better value per guest for a family or group, but a shared departure will normally remain cheaper for one or two travellers.
How to compare two offers
Compare the same duration, route, group capacity and fuel terms. Ask whether cave stops, snorkelling equipment, drinks, transfer, lunch and taxes are included. Most importantly, confirm the exact vessel and cancellation terms before making any payment.
- Is the price for the boat or each guest?
- Is fuel for the complete route included?
- Which boat will operate the tour?
- Where exactly does the tour depart?
- What happens if the skipper cancels for weather?
